1. What we collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:
- Account data: email address and optional nickname when you sign up.
- Prompts and content: the text, titles, colours, folder assignments, and lock settings you save in your vault.
- Usage data: basic interaction metrics (e.g. AI Optimise runs, backup events, sync events) to enforce plan limits and keep the service running reliably.
- Login and device data: IP address, approximate location (country/region/city as derived from your IP by our network provider), user agent, and session identifier for each sign-in, so you can review and revoke sessions from your account settings.
- Payment data: handled by Stripe. We do not store card numbers; we retain plan status, invoice references, and top-up records to operate billing.
- Bring your own AI keys: if you connect an OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google AI Studio API key, we store it encrypted at rest and use it only to run the AI Optimise requests you initiate.
- Bug reports: if you use the in-app bug reporter, we collect the message, optional screenshot, and basic browser/route context you submit.
2. How we use your data
- To provide, maintain, and improve AIQuickPrompt.
- To sync your prompts across your devices.
- To run AI Optimise requests against third-party model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) or your own connected API key, and to enforce plan limits and credit balances.
- To generate Excel backups and, if you have connected Google Drive, upload them to a folder in your Drive.
- To deliver prompt shares to the recipients you invite.
- To send essential service emails via our email provider (e.g. auth emails, billing receipts, share invites, backup verification codes).
- To show you your recent login activity and let you sign out of other devices.
- To detect abuse and protect the security of the platform.
3. Subprocessors and third parties
We use trusted providers to operate the service. The main ones are:
- Hosting, database, and auth: Lovable Cloud (which runs on Supabase and Cloudflare) hosts the app, database, and authentication.
- Payments: Stripe processes subscriptions and one-off credit top-ups.
- AI providers: OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google AI Studio receive the prompt text you send for optimisation. When you use a bring-your-own key, the request is made against your account with that provider.
- Google Drive: only if you connect it; we use it to upload the backup files you request.
- Email delivery: our transactional email provider sends account and share emails from an aiquickprompt.com domain.
- Analytics: we use Meta Pixel for aggregate page-view analytics and marketing measurement. It is loaded on public marketing pages.
4. Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account (from Settings or by admin request), we remove your personal data, prompts, folders, shares, connected AI keys, and login history within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it longer (for example, billing records).
Prompts you delete are moved to Trash and permanently removed after a short retention window. Backup files uploaded to your own Google Drive remain in your Drive until you delete them there.
5. Your rights
Depending on your location (e.g. UK/EU GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, or object to processing of your personal data. You can export your data as an Excel backup, review and revoke logged-in sessions, disconnect Google Drive, remove your BYO AI keys, and delete your account directly from Settings. For any other request, contact us at the email below.
6. Cookies and tracking
We use essential storage (cookies and browser localStorage) to keep you signed in and remember preferences such as theme. On public marketing pages we load Meta Pixel to measure page views and campaign performance. See our Cookie Policy for details.
7. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and BYO API keys are encrypted at rest before being stored. Access to your prompts is protected by database-level row security so that only you (and admins where strictly required for support) can read them. Biometric and prompt locks are a device-level convenience feature and are not a substitute for keeping highly sensitive data off the platform.
8. Children
AIQuickPrompt is not intended for children under 13 (or the age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
