New AI Models: GPT-6.1 Sol, Gemini 4 Argon and GPT-6 Luna

By Emmanuel Abou Chabke, Founder and Editor · Reviewed by the AIQuickPrompt editorial team · About the publisher

AI Optimise just gained four new models. GPT-6.1 Sol and Gemini 4 Argon arrive as premium options for demanding rewrites, GPT-6 Sol fills the middle of the GPT-6 family, and GPT-6 Luna joins the free fast tier. That takes AIQuickPrompt from 43 to 47 selectable models. This guide explains what each new model is good at, what it costs to run, and a simple way to pick the right one for a given prompt.

What is new in AI Optimise

Nothing about the flow changed: open a prompt card, press AI Optimise, and choose a model from the dropdown. The four newest arrivals are pinned to the top of their group with a New badge so you can find them quickly.

The usual rules apply. Fast models are free on every plan within the daily allowance, premium models use a Pro credit or a top-up credit, and bring-your-own-key models are billed by your own provider.

  • GPT-6.1 Sol | premium. Close to GPT-6 Astra on hard coding and professional writing, for complex prompts that need careful reasoning.
  • Gemini 4 Argon | premium. Google's new frontier model, strong at long, multi-step reasoning and detailed technical prompts.
  • GPT-6 Sol | premium. The mid-tier GPT-6 model, a balanced choice when you want GPT-6 quality without reaching for the flagship.
  • GPT-6 Luna | fast and free. The low-cost GPT-6 model, ideal for quick clean-ups and everyday rewrites.

Which model should you pick for which task?

You do not need the biggest model for every prompt. A good habit is to start fast, check the result, and only spend a premium credit when the prompt is long, technical or high stakes.

  • Short everyday prompts (emails, captions, summaries) | GPT-6 Luna or Gemini 3.8 Flash.
  • Structured business prompts (reports, briefs, outlines) | GPT-6 Sol.
  • Coding and professional prompts with many constraints | GPT-6.1 Sol or GPT-6 Astra.
  • Long reasoning, research plans or multi-step technical prompts | Gemini 4 Argon.
  • Natural, conversational tone | ChatGPT Latest Instant.

Claude Opus 5.5 and Claude Fable 5.1 in usage tracking

Many people also use Anthropic's newest models outside AIQuickPrompt. You can now pick Claude Opus 5.5 and Claude Fable 5.1 when you log which model you used with a prompt, so your Insights stay accurate. They are tracking options only and are not run through AI Optimise.

How to compare models without wasting credits

Version history makes model comparison simple. Optimise once with a fast model, then again with a premium one, and each version remembers the model and credits used. Keep the version that works and restore any earlier one in a tap.

  • Run a free fast model first to see whether the prompt already improves enough.
  • Use a premium model only for prompts you will reuse often.
  • Save the winning version with {{variables}} so it works for every future project.

Create a free AIQuickPrompt account to try GPT-6 Luna and the other fast models at no cost, save your best prompts in one vault, and upgrade only when you want premium models like GPT-6.1 Sol and Gemini 4 Argon.
